On June 2, 2008 the Long Island Street Rod Association received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Town of Brookhaven for our "efforts in improving the quality of life in our community, and for your assistance and compassion to provide help for Brookhaven's less fortunate."

All of our members are extremely proud of this acknowledgement, and we will continue to do our part to better our communities and help our fellow Long Islanders.
