After owning a 1936 Sedan Delivery for 13 years, we sold it to start a family. We switched gears and went from Hot Rods to Volvo stationa wagons and Mini Vans. Finally the time came and we were able to build another car.
I always wanted a convertible and a 1936 Ford was my favorite. After talking my friend Harry from the Barn Boys into selling it to me, I drove it bone stock, (BORING), for one year.
I came home one day and decided the time was right. 3 Sawzall blades and an entire Sunday afternoon later, the car was scattered all over my garage.
I worked on it off and on for almost 6 years. It should finally be done by the end of the 2010 summer!
The car has a "Fatman" chassis, 4 wheel disc brakes, a 468 CI Big Block, a 4L60 Automatic Trans, a "Street and Performance" serpentie belt setup, AC. Sirius Sattelite Radio, and a Griffin Aluminum radiator.
There are several body modificatins including a side opening hood and "Boyd" wheels. The color is going to be "Os/Sooo" Orange with saddle colored top and interior.
